The most interesting thing is, i've nevere heard of them...
he says they mailed something to my billing address, never got shit...

and this is obviously done with kickback to citibank, cuz they just gave out my info, and let them charge me without authorization.

I've had this happen before... Usually the offer comes with a check for a few dollers... like a $5 check or something... if you read the fine print on the back it says if you cash the check you are agreeing to the service... they send you the check to make it more legaly binding... I REALLY HATE THOSE KIND OF TACTICS.. makes adult tactics look like childs play..

my wife ordered the perfect pancake thing a while back, and noticed a $89.95 charge on her card a little later...it was for a shopping club similar to that....we find later in the invoice that if we didn't cancel within a month to our FREE TRIAL, that we would be charged automatically...

they charged back obviously...but it is annoying

yeah, i know about the small checks, never deposit that shit...but i've never even heard of them....it's just they got my account and info from citibank, and just fucking charged me...

how do they get away with it? thats the question
imagine charging millions of people and giving 1/2 of it to citibank as a 'referal fee' or some shit... citibank needs to get the revenues up for the 1st quarter financials

It's very hard for the police too get the scammers . But once they get them they stay in jail for a while . One or 2 months ago I posted a thread about a scam like that . The guys cashed like 3 billions total !!! that's a crazy ammount of money

our local gas utility automatically adds a fee to the bill each month for membership to the shop at home network. you have to ask to have the fee removed.
