    Curious...Who has family money, and...

    works the biz from it?
    Seems to me that a lot of major players are young. Understanding the general business theory that it takes money to make it, who here made it on their own and who had family money to play with?

    I'll start.
    I starting working at the age of 14, and was never given a dime from anyone. I did receive love and an education from my parents, but thats about it.
    These days I own property and a nice bank. I am semi retired at age 44, and am able to work the biz as a profitable hobby.

    I DO NOT start threads about my new fucking Farrari. I am sure 2 out of 3 of them are from Daddy's money.

                          Both my parents have family backgrounds with lots of money (grandparents and uncles are millionaires).

                          However, I started this business with my own money from nothing, since I was not allowed to use our "family's fund" money.

                                              Moved to the other side of the country when I was 16. At 17 started a computer biz and secured exclusive state hardware tenders and ran other business till I was 26. Then did some consultancy and contract work for corporations before getting online.

                                                                  I'm 20 going on 21 in August.. I ended up graduating from high school with a lot of ambition to do business... I set out by taking a year off to work at a local sportsbar resturant, working at least 50-60 hours a week saving up money to finance my business. During this period I studied the business and now everything is comming together. I hope to make a decent income now that I am in college.

                                                                              My family isn't rich but some would say I was a spoiled shit. Still to this day my mum buys me too much. I never wanted for anything in life, I always got what I asked for (within reason of course) I never used any money from my family to start in the business tho. I started working with my girlfriends brother who had been doing this for 2 years. Now I do more of my own things as well as still working with him

                                                                                              me and my hubby came from poverty stricken families. There's no such thing as family money here. We've started our own brick and mortar business and my internet stuff is financially helping to support our needs. we're nowhere near player status. but we're not suffering either.

                                                                                                  I started in this biz 6 or so years ago... i don't think it takes money to make money in the adult industry at all. You can work your way up quite easily. So many options for free hosting, content, etc.. are out there that it's amazingly simple to get a foot in the door.
