Not only that but the script is in dire need for an upgrade. The security flaws in this script make it laughably easy to abuse.

Well ofcourse but why change as long as they are still able to put up 20 rotatin sponsors paying 2500/month each (just guessing)?
You can always start moderating a bit tighter when times are getting harder, sofar I don't think they have any problems filling those slots.
