The tone of my messages probably does not encourage my target audience to read what I've written and think about it, you're right.
But I can easily answer the "why" part of your question. Why do I keep asking "believers" these questions? Simply to give back to them what they've given to others. They believe they need to "go into all the world preaching the gospel to every creature". I, in turn, amuse myself by going to every Christian and asking them questions from the Bible that I KNOW they cannot answer. Many of them try to answer, only to get frustrated and eventually give up. But I have caused a handful of them to begin to doubt their beliefs. To question what they've been told all their lives. I love it when that happens. I feel like it's giving them a taste of their own medicine.
When was the last time you asked a Christian to knock on your door? I don't recall ever asking anyone to knock on my door and try to "save my soul".
When was the last time you asked a Christian to demean a girl that had posed nude for you, making her feel worthless and horrible about herself, simply because she posed nude? I see it happen. Christians seem to forget their "what would Jesus do" saying when ragging on some girl that has posed for me. I've seen more than one girl ripped to shreds by Christians because she posed for me. I hate hypocrisy. The word "Christian" means "like Christ". Do you think this Jesus they profess belief in would treat models like shit? No... there are examples ("Let those of you without sin cast the first stone" comes to mind).
Most, not all, Christians use Christianity to make themselves feel better than others. I love to tear them down by making them face questions they don't want to answer.
