If you want a 1600X1200 monitor, I HIGHLY recommend the Viewsonic VP201B, I've had it for 5 months now and I LOVE it ! The contrast and colors are beautiful.

          http://viewsonic.com/products/deskto...201b/index.htm

The VP201B is the all black monitor while the VP201s has the black base with grey monitor.

What's also nice about this monitor is that you can buy a stand and hook up 4 of them if you wanted to, check this out -

I have no need for that yet though

Dell 2001FP is hard to beat for its quality and price.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Can you get any LCD monitors that are just as good as a CRT monitor?

Recently got the Samsung SyncMaster 213T
                  It's an 21.3" and has a res of 1600x1200.
I had to get used to the 25ms response time since I always used a CRT monitor but I love it now.
Great colors and picture quality and the price isn't bad either.

I always used to ask myself that question, but after I picked up my Viewsonic VP201b I changed my mind, it's wonderful. I play a lot of games and the picture looks as good as CRT. Mine has a 16ms response time, so there's no ghosting at all.
