Obstruction of Justice charge...wtf!
This past monday night I was pulled over and charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia and "Obstruction of Justice".
Me and a friend had just got done smoking in my car and my eyes were kinda red. My friend and I were handcuffed and put into the back of cop cars while two cops searched my car and they found my zig-zags, clear eyes, and some blunt wraps. They found three little granules of weed in my carpet but said it wasnt enough to send to the crime lab. (I had an eigth and a glass pipe but we threw it out the window before the cop pulled us over, we knew we were about to get pulled over)
back the point of this post, why was I charged with obstruction of jusice? for throwing it out the window so they couldnt find it?
the cop didnt really explain to me what Obstruction of justice was.
