Some Fucked up shit on CNN

The cops stop the wrong car. They get the two people out of the car. Stuff one of them face down on the grass.

Guy swallows dirt and tries to spit it out. The cops put a bag over his head.

So he's sitting in the back of the police car choking to death because they put a hazardous waste material bag over his head.

Now heres the fucked up part: They recorded the conversation.

The guys screaming I can't breathe... help me

The cop says if you can't breathe then you can't scream son.

So the cops finally get to the police station and the guys dead suffocated because they stuck bag on top of his head.

Happened very near where I live. It was some biological/chemical mask or something.

They didn't stop the wrong car, it was some druggie kids who didn't pay for their gas.

Needs to be charged with murder.

We had an officer shoot and kill a lady that was at a Walgreens trying to pass a forged prescription. He was aquitted of murder. She was in the drive through and tried to take off. He says he feared for his life that she would run him over. Never mind the fact that he was behind her while she was trying to drive forward.

Now this pig is trying to sue the officers that testified against him. Fucking ridiculous.

Depends on where you live.

Every force is a mix of arrogant bullies, altruists, and jaded altruists slowly becoming bullies.

The problem is that when there are "bad apples"... the other cops do everything they can to cover it up, or make it a "union grievance", etc.
And for that reason , the majority deserve to take the blame.

We may not agree with the things that the cops do ( mostly because you do not understand the why of it, ) but they also get in trouble for things.

There have been cops put in jail for helping people, and things went wrong.

What about the cops that have been sued for trying to save someones life giving CPR. they guys dies, and the family sues. The cop looses everything for trying to help.

I've only had good stuff from cops... tho it's clear idiots are not respectors of any group - they are everywhere. It's easy just to brand a group because of this.

Different countries have... almost totally different types of police. There is eg... a massive difference between even Canadian law enforcement and US - tho they are only across the border.

It's the same with.. eg.. Euro police forces, they have the same idiot element, but in the example above, there is no way in hell any police officer is permitted to stuff bags over people's heads. That is a common US military activity - which is questionable.

That smells more like a police state than any democracy.

I know a few US law people, they ain't into that shit - they have sense and an ability to "assess" and "comprehend". It's the usual idiot element, smart ass Officer Plod. The sad bit is that it reaches higher levels in US policing as well... hell knows :-)

The US is no different to any other country when it comes to AIDS - all countries have the same problem.

The difference is, police officers don't go around slapping bags over people's heads.

That's not true everywhere. It's not just a myth. It does exist. It's what happens when you get a group of men together in uniform that take a vow to protect each others back. You'll find the same conduct within the army.

There was a case in Canada about two months ago where a cop punched an immigrant for no reason in the face. Customs was about to deport the immigrant....until video tape surfaced showing exactly what happened. There were two cops on the scene, one punching the immigrant, the other watching. If the video had not existed the immigrant would have been deported. That's the code of silence in it's cruel, brutal action.

Had the other officer been honest he would have come forward with what really happened. He didn't. This happens more often than we think, unfortunately. There just isn't a camera around all the time.
