    Photoshop Tutorial Wankers

    Back when I started playing around with Photoshop in 1998 there were a handful of Photoshop tutorial sites, Marks, Photoshop Guru, Eyeball, Doc Ozone - all quality sites with detailed well written and explained tutorials. Today there are now hundreds of Photoshop tutorial sites and apparently they will take a tutorial from anybody. 90% of the tutorials are horrible, horribly written and horribly conceived.

    this is an example of the state of today's Photoshop tutorials.

    Hi. Thanks to Jason from PhotoshopForce.com for showing me this extremely cool effect. Ok, let's get started!


    1. Open document, you can use any color background you wish - I used a dark gray.

    2. Make new layer, name it 'Orb', draw circle, fill it with black or any color you wish. I used black.

    3. Go to Layer Effects, do some settings like the ones here.

    You're done! Pretty kewl huh!

                      oh i remember Phong - that's where i learned to do nice bevels using channels instead of with that shitty EyeCandy plugin.

                      i always wonder about guys who run those sites - gotta get bored of it after awhile, they don't make much money.

                          Does anyone have a good list of decent tutorial sites? Not the usual lot like good-tutroials anything smaller that reflects true skills?
                          SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
