Florida Water Safty... (no warning, question)

i know its probably safe to drink now, but during the hurricanes we got plenty of warning to not drink the city water.. now that the hurricane and storms are done, and the warning have been sent out alot, dont you think they should have announced that it is now safe to continue drinking the city water? Nothing has been said about our water systems since the warnings, shouldnt they have gave notice that its safe again?

im not doubting that its safe, im just wondering why they wouldnt have gave us the ok to drink it again...
