Then problem with the event is that it ends something like 1am. If it was say ending 9pm, I would have got a coach.
I do not fancy driving all the way there in the snow.
Plus, I would have thought it was going to be very cold.
It may have been better to do it in a hotel, with a room included. I would not mind paying for a room.
I just wonder how others (who do not know London) feel about getting home at 2am Sunday morning, in the Snow?Comment

It?s Party time in the Capital! We?ve hired the ?Golden Jubilee? pleasure boat. Sex Money, Netpond and Adult Online Europe have joined forces with our sponsors ? Px24, GlobalCharge and Partner2go ? to create this fabulous networking opportunity for the adult online business. We welcome Webmasters and industry professionals to join us for a few drinks and a cruise on the Thames.
The ?Golden Jubilee? leaves Temple Pier at 8pm. Guests can embark from 7.45pm for 5 hours of networking, food, drink and entertainment.
Thanks to our good friends at Px24, GlobalCharge and Partner2go there is no charge for this event. So please remember to visit their sites, check out the services that they have to offer and drink their alcohol on the night. All you need to do is follow the link below and fill in the registration form. Guests will not be allowed on the boat unless they have pre-registered. Remember, space is limited on the ?Golden Jubilee?, so please register early to avoid disappointment.
Directions
Temple Pier is directly opposite Temple Underground Station, which is on the District and Circle lines, 10 minutes by Tube from Victoria, 20 minutes from Euston and 30 Minutes from Kings Cross. www.tfl.gov.uk features a link to Tube and Bus maps, as well as a handy journey planner.
All Black Cabs will know where it is. If you are coming by car ? remember the congestion charge!
The Pier is also right across the road from the Walkabout pub ? handy, both before and afterwards.
Itinerary
7.45 pm ? embark ?Golden Jubilee? ? Temple Pier
8pm ? Boat leaves ? please don?t be late!
1am ? arrive back at Temple PierComment

We've arranged for the boat to stop at Temple at around 11pm. So those who have a train to catch can get off the boat. The party will then continue on until 1am.Originally posted by allanuk

If you look at www.euwebmasters.com there are links through to hotels of all price ranges in London.
Temple is fairly central, with plenty of cabs around, so its not difficult to get back to your hotel.Comment

Sorry to tell you Ross, but this is the first event that the EUWebmasters have thrown!Originally posted by Ross
Two people from our party went last year. Didn't really enjoy it, too many freeloaders to get big business done.
I'm off to Cancun next week anyway...Comment
