can you tell me anything about out sourcing?
Although I have some sites myself it will be a long time before i would need to pay others to do my work, but ive seen a few offers here for paid work and I would love to do it (read as NEED THE MONEY) what kind of dirty work can you get a few quick bucks for? I don't care if it's boring repetitive naff pay etc..
Also can anyone give me a straight answer on whether warning pages are needed for porn sites?
Thanks!Comment

Outsourcing is the future. We like it or not a large part of online tasks will be outsourced to countries with lower wages. It's good to consider this option from now. Most common outsourced tasks are programming, designing and various manual processes such as tgp/mgp submissions, free sites creation etc.
if you can review galleries and do submissions to tgps/mgps for reasonable prices you can find webmasters interested to pay for them. A thread on the main board can help you to achive it.
Warning pages are frequently used among free and paysite owners. "Needed or not". That's a hard question. My belief is that a warning page won't stop a potential prosecution. A further, more meaningful step would be to register your domains with www.icra.orgComment

hi pradaboy, as chowda said you need more thumbs. Tgps were never my good field. I would add one more horizontal and one more verictal line of thumbs. (4x4)
I'm not sure if 5x5 would fit your page. I think it will help to give more the impression of a thumb-tgp. Maybe you need to increase the table size a bit to achieve it.
Also, your gallery links would be better to be on 3 rows than 2 and use a wording format like worldsex (3 words description). Orange color is not easy to read it. Consider another one, maybe black.
With 1mil tgps there's no margins for having an avarage or just good tgp. If you plan to make it big the first thing you need to make sure is to make the surfer say:"wow that's the best tgp......bookmark" Won't be easy.Comment

Nevaquit, i think Lil2rich4u2 that posts on main board has an advanced submitter db he updates often and sells it. If you are interested i'll give you his icq.Originally posted by Nevaquit

Good lookin on answering questions....my questions is: Where can I go to get the most updated advanced submitter database or is there a place where I can find niche oriented TGPs/MGPs?? So I can update it myself. Thanks again, fam.Comment

Smaller thumbs, expand the table so they are nested to about 90% width or more. Run you categories in a gutter and galleries down the other side. Never make surfer have too look for stuff. Maybe ID the gallery as to what niche. I agree, the color of the text is a bit off. Ya got a start, keep going.Last edited by ALOTI; 02-21-2004, 07:19 PM.Comment

Howdy Soul_Rebel,
Thanks for the offer. Here's a simple one I hope:
We have a non-adult affiliate program that sells like crazy on adult sites and doesn't compete with adult sponsors AT ALL. Better than that, it is free to the end user, AND the best deal of it's kind anywhere. Even the people who get the free system make you money when they tell their neighbors.
So how do I get people to sign up and promote it? Very few people do, and those that try it are VERY well rewarded.
I am sort of losing faith in the common sense of adult webmasters.
For some reason many people seem to think that the only thing you can promote on a porn site is porn. Look at how many people still don't sell herbal products!
We have made a living on the web for 7 years now. We know our shit.
Can you offer any advice?
Thank you,
Spoink
P.S. We signed up for your announcement list.
P.P.S. We are starting one each of the popular types of adult sites JUST to promote this program.Comment

as long as you don't do something that will bring you legal problems, you shouldn't worry. If you can do seo for subniches, do it. It's better targetting and you'll maximize your earnings. Not sure if it worths your time though. Seo competition is huge at the moment. Keywords are being targetted by thousands webmasters and spammers.Originally posted by nap

Getting adult webmasters to promote non-adult product is very hard. I've lost faith long time ago hehe. One thing you can do is to buy banner and link spots to some big tgps. You'll get both exposure for your program and make a profit with your product (if it performs that well). You can get good business from boards as well, just not make your attempts to look like spam.Originally posted by SpoinkDexter

Laws vary from state to state and from country to country. Play safe and consult an attorney. You can get an idea about what you can and what you can't by looking at the major escort sites in your area that have been around for years, but still an expert's opinion should be above everything.Originally posted by chowda

Thanks for that icra info, hadnt thought of it. One of the sites i run is semi-adult but a lot of kids surf in despite warning pages and i have had a few complaints from parents in the past. Hopefully this will help
Are there any sites/sources out there which give average conversion rates for adult sponsors?
Also when buying traffic - what's the best amount to use to test? I'm thinking it would be around 10kComment

zzgundamnzz, wish i could give you some tips on this, but trading sites is my weak part. I never did well with them and neither spend much time. Running a trading site is hard task and even if you experiment for long time it's possible to reach nowhere. That's why out of thousands tgps there are only very few with decent traffic. If you can get some tips from guys like doctor dre, gotys, xapster and boneprone would be good.Originally posted by zzgundamnzz

best thing is to use a mix of them. Don't waste your time with pay per click programs. The real options are only two: per join and revshare %. When you chose revshare programs make sure that the paysites have exclusive content and give you more than 50%Originally posted by Peterke
sponsors have differten programs.
When to choose what program (pay per join, partnership, %)
thx
for example:
www.cybernetentertainment.com up to 60%
www.flyntdigital.com 70%
www.purecash.com up to 70%
If you plan to send a lot of traffic to a revshare paysite contact the owner and request access to the members area. If you don't find it satisfied most probably your surfers won't find it as well. In this case seek for another one.Comment

www.thestatistician.com does that
Don't pay much attention though because my best converting sponsor can be your worst one and vice versa. Just avoid the ones that almost everyone converts shit.
What kind of purchased traffic? Personally I'm very careful when it comes to traffic brokers. Exit, popup, popupunder and blind clicked traffic is near impossible to be converted. It's overpriced and shitty.Comment

I have a few trades set up and have bought some traffic to feed them. I'm getting some search engine exposure (google PR5 on the warning page, PR4 on the main TGP).

I've been trying to find out whether or not to get a merchant account to save 10% in processing fees and holdbacks
Would you reccommend this I have always had a pretty low chargeback rate never over 1%
Your suggestions?

hmm i have a few questions...
1. would I be shooting myself in the foot if i started a 18+ teen paysite, or is there still hope of starting one?
2. how do you promote your own paysite? i know about free sites, avs, and gallery submitting... any other ideas?
3. what would I need to do to start and run a paysite that is profitable after about a year of having one? I'm not looking to get rich quick with paysites right away.
4. which niche(s) would be more successful? big tits, hairy pussy, petite teens, average girls? or if you have a suggestion...
can you answer those questions?

first of all, i had to wait to competely load in order to see something more than the top banner and logo. Most probably you need to work again on your tables. Many surfers won't wait like me, they'll close the browser or visit another tgp.
I don't think there's such thing as too much advertisement. Your main task is to sell them something. Most small tgps don't generate any income due to lack of ads.
Regarding the ratios...... the tables with the paysites look like blind links. I'ts possible the surfer to click many of them without knowing he'll end up in a tour. A phrase like "take a look at these great paysite offers" would help to get more targetted clicks.
For tgp traffic free or $1 trials work the best.Comment

What % of your sales come from your own traffic and what % comes from affiliates? If you generate most of the sales inhouse it's an easy step to move to your own merchant account. If not you need to worry more about webmasters fraud. With the exception of an aussie sponsor that was getting sales coming exclusively from bulk mailing, I haven't heard anyone else losing their merchant account.
If I were you I would take the risk. I don't like the holdbacks of the processors. I know program owners that owe them extremely big amounts.....
Netbilling is the most frequently used option in such case.Comment

I need to figure out how to include the links on the left without wrapping the whole thing in a table.. maybe a style sheet would be better.. I hate nested tables anyway

No, but wouldn't be the easiest niche. What are your traffic sources for a teen paysite? What about your current available budget to build one? That would help me to give you a better response. In a couple of weeks ARS is gonna kill allpetite.com It's a teen niche with small women, petite. I know from personal experience this sub-niche is a very easy sell. It could be a close alternative for you.
2. how do you promote your own paysite? i know about free sites, avs, and gallery submitting... any other ideas?
I don't run a paysite. If I would run one my main traffic sources would come from bulk traffic purchases.

That's a huge chapter of the adult industry, not just a question
Doing everything above average would help you achive your goals. Have in mind though that running a paysite is a risk business. Unfortunately, nobody can guarantee you that paysites would exist in a year. Don't invest everything and don't count only on a paysite.
4. which niche(s) would be more successful? big tits, hairy pussy, petite teens, average girls? or if you have a suggestion...

My traffic sources will include my link list and tgp which i'm going to start heavily dumping more traffic into them in the coming months. I'm also going to purchase traffic, paid spots on tgps along with regular tgp submissions and tossing in a few free sites promoting my paysite
My current available budget is nonexistent. I will be getting a few thousand a month to feed the paysite. i've been told that since my budget is very small at this time, that i should carefully make decisions and grow my site slowly and steadily.
I know not to put all my eggs into one basket. unfortunately i've had to learn that lesson a few times before I actually understood it. My hubby and I have a brick and mortar business that is picking up in sales. we're expecting to make about 10Gs a month at the rate we're going. I also regularly submit to tgps and have a few mainstream and adult internet businesses that i'm working on besides the paysite.
One big reason why i want to start my own paysite is because i'm tired of sponsors going out of business or drastically changing their rules which heavily effect my sales. I figure if i start a small paysite and grow it slowly, it wont be a huge loss if it doesnt become successful
I know i can sell big tits and hairy pussy
petite girls... hmm i could give it a shot. perhaps i should try to promote a petite site first before i build one
i do appreciate your helpComment

So what's up with that tgp - thing.
Should I post my site on tgp's ?
How & where do you do, and what does it cost.
Totally only into streaming girls and telling by word of mouth.
It's funny, but cost the skin off my back....but what the heck.
I't seem to begin earning a litle, but could shure do with moore traffic.
Any sugestions ?BACK IN BIZZ !
