    Funny shit

I just bought a new laptop, and it has a built-in wireless thingy. So, I start it for the first time, and just for the hell of it check out if there are any available wireless networks.

So, now I am apparently on my neighbours' 2 mbps network

I was helping set up a wireless network at a friend's house, located in a pretty dense new subdivision. There were five wireless networks with good signals within range of his house. Four were locked, one was open.

how exactly will that help him leech off their connection for the whole year?

You don't go and blow an opportunity like that

Yeah, several locked ones here too, as well as a single open one
