you are right that i don't think the bible mentions the actual word pornography. That was what I was taught by priests, I just didnt make this up on my own. Most of the stories in the old testament are not based in reality, they are morality lessons. There was Adam and Eve then they had two sons, one son killed the other son. So thats 3 people,so where did all the other people come from? The great flood and Noah there is no historical record of this and if it was true then we are all sons and daughters of Noah's family, this means the people on the boat repopulated the planet. how bout i just agree to disagree with you. i'm not Catholic, I'm Baptist. Our views are very different. I believe that the Old Testament is an accurate representation and entirely factual. And because of that I believe in the 10 Commandments as written by Moses from words spoken to him by God. well what you didn't catch was that Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill the law...he did not say that the old testament or the 10 commandements were out the window...but that it could be summed up with 1 commandment.Originally posted by myjah

I was raised in a very religious household and as a child and teenager I spent a great deal of time in church. As an adult I've found that everything is not quite what it seems and I can't believe everything I'm told. Right or wrong, I have my own relationship with God which I'm very comfortable with.Comment
