That article is bullshit. Some little loser and his buddies attack some guy who actually doing somethign with his life and the guy fiights back. After he stabbed the guy he called police to report it. Then the punk dies at the hospital.
So the lesson is this story is to live in an area where there are very few of these lowlifes. And if you do have to defend yourself just get the fuck out of there and don't tell anyone about it.Comment

I saw the victim's (sic) sister on TV and she looked black to me. Then again, the word "hispanic" simply refers to a linguistic heritage, not an ethnic group. Spaniards are hispanics even though many have blond hair and blue eyes. Many Cubans are black descendants of slaves, yet they are called hispanics because of their linguistic heritage. Mexicans and Central Americans are ethnically Mestizos, but they are called hispanics for a reason that eludes me. My guess is that the victim (sic) was a black man of hispanic heritage.

The defense claims he approached the car in which the victim sat to ask if they needed help or directions, the people in the car jumped out, beat and kicked him to the ground, when he managed to repeatedly stab the victim in the chest.
There were a lot of other details, but ultimately the jury unanimously disbelieved the defense claims, and believed the prosecution claims.Comment
