Dark hair looks healthier. Just don't go too dark because it's hard on the hair to get it back lightened. Try to find a stylist in your area that's a color specialist. There are all sorts of newer types of hair color products available that most of the standard salons never bother with. I'm lucky that there is a woman local to me that is a representative for two major hair color companies, has worked in major salons in paris and LA, and does alot of industry work.
