I have a non-internet biz that I'd like to get a merchant account for. Anybody know a good place to go? Seems like the going rate is 1.49% and 25 cents per transaction, am I correct about this?

I have some people I use who sepcialize on consulting on this type of scenario exactly.
They tailor solutions to your specific needs and don't try and jam you into an "off the shelf" solution.
Hit me up and I'll put you in contact.

If it is an internet based company your rate is not right. Your discount rate is for card present/swipe transactionsComment

1.49% + .25 is about right, as long as you are physically swiping the card through the terminal.....But, if you key in the transaction, the rate downgrades to somewhere in the 2.30% rangeOriginally posted by Wilbo
