A few weeks ago I started noticing blood in my urine. I went to the doctor hoping it was simply an infection. The doctor didnt think thats what it was so he sent me to have an IPV test, its a test where they pump iodine through you and take xrays. I was hoping at that point it was kidney stones. Yesterday I went to the urologist to find out the results and the xrays showed a mass (tumor) in one of my kidneys. The doctor said 95% of the time kidney tumors are cancerous and has scheduled a cat scan. I am totally freaking out, and of course now I'm thinking I may die. That doesnt bother me to much but I feel terrible for my 4 year old son, I can't even look at him without crying. On top of all this my medical insurance doesnt kick in until next month and they don't cover pre-existing conditions for 6 months, so I guess I'm fucked there too.
Now this morning my so called girlfriend told me she can't deal with this and said she's moving out and now movers are moving her stuff out as I type this. Probably a blessing in disguise but I just can't believe all this shit. In a few short weeks my life went from being good to this nightmare.
