You know, I think you could start a thread like this on any random day and you'll get the usual barrage or responses ranging from 'record setting highs' to 'average' to 'worst ever'.

I honestly believe that it's a highly volatile equation that's hard to peg down. Why does a site convert at 1:17 one day and then 1:700 the next? The first week of a month may start off brutal then explode in the last 7 days for record setting highs.

I find that looking at a longer range forecast (month, quarter) shows much more stable conversions.

With all that said....

I have noticed a steady decline in my *you guessed it* CCBill stats. Not just the usual above mentioned ups and downs, but a static decrease for well over a month. Typical days would go from 1:250 to 1:700, with an average this year of 1:450. Starting this september, things have fallen off, and don't appear to be getting better with the averge closer to 1:750. Now, this isn't one day here, this is close to 7 weeks.

I love CCBill, and have learned to ignore the daily/weekly/monthly fluctuations, but we're going on 2 months now with no 'bounceback' to keep things within normal parameters.

Sometimes hard to take your owm advice
