I heard on virgin radio today that they're not having the character ba baracas in the movie at all; they don't want it to turn to comedy. Hollywood is missing the point totally. They're going to piss the fan base off (pretty much any kid growing up in the 80s) and the original a team WAS kinda funny and tongue-in-cheek.
