As for the candle wax, that's paraffin and it has a very low burn temp. They're the best to use for wax play because they're really only a bit warm as the wax hits flesh. So it only looks painful. I use colored paraffin and it hurts no worse than the white paraffin. It depends on the type of wax you're using.
