Any hunter that wastes their meat is crazy. Even if they don't care for the meat, they can easily sell it for top dollar. I LOVE venison, elk is a little too gamey for my taste though.

Agreed. We are having a REAL problem with overpopulation here even with increased kills amounts.
One of the most obvious I'm seeing is mutated deer which I've been told is due to inbreeding due to the massive population.
