    Jay Z does an album with the Beatles

    I dunno if you guys have heard this but it's pretty cool. A DJ called Dangemouse remixed his Black album replacing Jay's basic hip hop beats with Beatles instrumentals. The results are pretty nice. Of course the Beatles record label is trying to sue but Dangermouse didn't do it for profit.

          You are entitled to your opinion. But let people know that your opinion comes from someone who likes to listen to his music at half speed (screwed). Some would say that's a bit strange.

              Yeah but that doesn't slant my view of shitty pop rap. I'm sure it sounds interesting over the Beatles though, but I tried a couple downs to listen and was unsuccessful so I'm sticking with latest Lil Flip Mix CD that I picked up today, Clover G's.

                              Honestly I didn' t think the Black album was anything special but this Grey album was done without his permission and it sounds pretty interesting.

                              But then again, without Jay Z, NY doesn't have any rappers worth a damn making albums anymore. 50 Cent raps with a mouth full of peas.

                                                  The DJ got sued to do that ... and Jay-Z didn't do it he just took the accapella and put it no a beat. That has been released like 2 months ago

                                                                                                          Been Beatles fan for 20 years orso saying that these mixes are blasphemy is an idiot when you think of how Yoko and Paul are squeezing every dime out every little beat or lyric.
                                                                                                          I think the idea here is obvious (black and white album mixed together) and I've heard 4 songs so far from this grey album and it sounds pretty good. Nothing but respect for all the people involved with this one way or another.
                                                                                                          Then again everybody should have different taste or we would all be listening to the same shit, glad to see there are still some people who try to put down what they don't but other people like, makes you look so fucking kewl
