Extremely rich people always seem concerned with a particular cause

But they never take just enough money to live their life with and give the rest to help that cause. So how concerned are they really?

No, this is my attitude always. I just keep it to myself. ;)

We live in a world of hypocrisy and I find it interesting.

Money makes money. You can't give anymore when its all gone. Frankly, I think you can only throw so much money at something to make a difference. Some things won't be changed until attitudes change or a leader emerges. And money can't buy either.

They usually have multiple causes. Warren Buffett approached this concept several years ago when Bill Gates was worth $10 billion, and was criticized for not giving enough away to charity. He said "Bill Gates can do more with that money than anyone he could give it to."

Now Bill is the richest man in the world, and owns the 2 largest charities in the world.

Well it would actually be smarter to continue making money and give an amount each year to the cause. They are going to spend all of the money, at least if you keep it you can invest, make more, and give them more.
