You can get the same house for 350 000 in ottawa .

here in Quebec City, houses are very affordable. I have a 2 story cottage with a garage, full white bricks, 30X26 (+garage). it is evaluated at 250K. the same house in Toronto Sub would be like 450K I believeComment

Depends on where you are.. Downtown Toronto for a small 2 story house you'd be looking in the 6 figure range.. Up here where I am (Northern Ontario) you can buy a house like ours for $100,000 including property.
Really all depends what conveneiences you want, that kind of thing. Your best bet is to search the internet and see what you come up with
