they should have done that a week after they started

Do the math people - that is an awful lot of bling if you calculate even 50 sites over 2000 webmasters at 10-20 clicks per day...

Funny no-one from ARS is here to give us the PR spin..

Looks sort of like what Topbucks did. They kept their old sites but just moved to all the new ones being reality. The rest of the structure is similar to as far as trial price etc.

Seems to be pretty mixed feeling on this. I guess thats normal with such a large change as this. Now that everyone has had a chance to let it settle in what is your opinion, Good or Bad ?

9 out of 10 members areas from the from the pps programs suck balls.
Alot of plugin crap.... poor quality streams... and hardly any downloadable movies.
The only reason most programs have recurring members is because those members forgot to cancel.
It seems like this is a good move from ARS.

Here a nice calculation someone made concerning the champ program:

"I believe we get 1 rewards point and 5 content points for every sale that another webmaster makes to our tours. Then we get 10 content points for each rebill. We'd have to get 100 sales to get enough rewards points to buy one scene. And we'd have to get 20 sales to get enough content points to buy one scene. If we wanted to pay cash, one content point is 50 cents, which means $50 for one scene. I can't see many webmasters shelling out $50 per month for each CHAMP tour for updates if their tour isn't even making 20 sales a month to net them 100 content points for the update."

I have 8 byots in all, and with this content price rate, they will be used/moved somewhere else. I find this atrocious, and it spelled profits on our back from the content provider or ARS (I am not sure i care who is doing what here). I will cope with the reality sites, although i don't find it to be a reinvention, far from there...it will last a couple of years. But the champ program is made for some rich elite webmasters, obviously. I am not exactely poor, but not exactely foolish or stupid enouph to risk everything on content providing.

Someone was talking about Topbucks, well...at least they kept their niches sites. The PPC situation isn't something i love either. ARS was my number 2 sponsors, and all i have to say is that, in the present state they will see the bottom of that list.

Revshare was great idea to start with.

But the replacement of BYOT doesn't look so great after close examinations. I hope they proove me wrong in that department, but i doubt they will let go because there will be webmasters willing to pay those insane prices.

cant stick around forever

they should done that years before. their members area are one of the worst and tours are pretty much all the same. BYOT has helped for a while, but that couldn't last forever.
maybe we'll see good real content from ARS???
