but why? since i have automatic transmission with the possibility to shift manually if i want (tiptronic in my case) i would never buy manual transmission again. automatic is so much more relaxing if i want and i don't miss anything for sports.Originally posted by Okidoki

The smg in the m3's and ferrari equivelent are no less then awesome!
I drove an m3 for a while and it is a very fast clutchless shifting system.
In my eyes its the GO!SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.Comment

minte has an smg M3, and raves about it. i've been looking at a lambo gallardo, and would have considered e-gear (their version of smg), but after looking into more closely it seems there is nothing but problems with it. very difficult to park, very difficult going up steep driveways. don't think i'd opt for it.we'll miss you our friend.
