How much do you want to spend?
My favorite place so far (budget wise) was Sandals in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. 1800/person includes airfare, a 3 room suite with a private pool, food, drinks, scuba, rock climbing, spa.... I was just going to post the same thing. I've only been once, but it was unbelievable. Even better than Maui. If you go make sure you go to Sting Ray Island... they take you out to a sandbar and you get to swim with dozens of sting rays.Originally posted by WiredGuy

The only downsides are you drive on the other side of the road and once you're there it's pretty expensive.

Yup, sting ray city was the coolest place ever. Getting to feed and pet the sting rays. Diving was amazing, great clubs, great food, great place. Only downside as you said was the price. 20% tax over the USDollar made it high but really worth it.

Before leaving San Diego for THE best vacation place in the entire world, I shut off my computer, change my answering machines to reflect my date of return from vacation, place a temporary stop on my mail, and then head out to paradise-----i.e., San Diego!!!!
I play tourist, and lazy vacationer right here in my own "back yard". It's a GREAT vacation (as long as you can be disciplined not to listen to your answering machines, or check your emails). AND, absolutely NO cell phone use!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet you'd love doing it as much as I do:-))
