    Anyone Going to Go See The NEW MOVIE MIRACLE tonight?

    Its one of the Greatest true stories of US Olympic History, if not the greatest... 1980 US Hockey Team. I wanted to see this when i heard it was coming out.. But then thought if it was Disney it would be cheezy..

    But the reviews and critics say other wise.. Say its very well done, and a good reflection of history..

    Some compare it to the quality of the Seabiscuit movie..

    Im gunna see it tonight..

    Got great reviews across the board so it seems..
    Was suprised..

          unfortunately I don't go to theatres so I'll have to wait till it's released on DVD.

              I was planning to go tommorow, a friend saw it last weekend (sneak preview) and said it was very good.

              It should sell more seats for the next few hockey games, the all star game is Sunday.

                  ahahahaha, Americans have to make movies about their 20+ year old Olympic hockey victories. Us Canadians can just wait 4 years until our next one.

                      there werre some pretty critical critics in that yahoo review list.. And they liked it...

                                                                              That was a big upset but none of the teams had anywhere near their best players playing....I think they are making it something it really wasnt

                                                                                  Huh, the Soviets had their best players there. That was waayyyy before the fall of Communism and the arrival of their players in the NHL. The Soviet national team used to play exhibitions against NHL teams and spank them around. Only the Montreal Canadiens dynasty (Lafleur, Dryden, Robinson, etc.) could play on their level. Team USA was made up of college kids at a time when the US didn't produce many talented players.
