Aaron M is just a wannabe photographer whose only claim to fame is his post count on GFY, his banning on GFY and the fact that he is fat.
The greatest ever post on GFY was when Rory proved that Aaron had ripped him off on a content deal by meeting him and recording the conversation via tape recorder.
Aaron was running Rory balls down and then Rory went to Aarons. The next post in the thread was an image of a receipt for the purchase of a tape recorder purchased that day just before he got to Aarons.

I only took a few smaller jobs from this thread. As I mentioned before, I had a client that needed alot of changes and such that got me way behind and I am not able to take alot of custom work at the moment. I have too much in my client queue, already. I guess I can understand how people think that I started this thread to get work, but I actually had to turn down a few offers because I just can't take anything new right now, not that I don't appreciate the offers! And not that it matters, but I turned down a couple of offers for gifts, as well. I don't want charity, I work for my money.Originally posted by emthree

Well, when you cash all those checks, remember whose name got them for you.

I would also like to point out that Rory was pretty much run out of this business because of the bullshit stunts that he pulled on people.
Time tells all. I am still here and he is not.

Doesn't it strike you as odd that you are in such financial straits, yet you don't have time to do any jobs?
If I were you I would look at rethinking how I did business.
Are you working too cheaply? Spending more time on projects that you get paid for?
I understand how it is believe me.. you want to satisify the customer, so you go above and beyond trying to do this, hurting yourself in the process.
There's nothing wrong with setting some boundaries, and structure to your work efforts.
When you take a job, look at the whole picture moneywise, is this job going to pay you $100 and take up $1000 worth of time?
Some jobs just aren't worth taking on. Every job you take on puts your reputation on the block, and from my experience, it's those little nitpicky jobs that cause the most headaches.
Do you remember Gallery People? I'm sure you do, and I'm sure you know what happened to them.
They were busy all the time, too busy.. then poof.. they're gone now. Galleries for $6.95 or something ridiculous like that.. they dug their own graves with that.
You do great work Tootie, be picky about what you take on, and get paid what you're worth.. I'm betting you'll be glad in the endComment
