    our great legal system

    http://msn.foxsports.com/story/3007582

"ATLANTA (AP) - Baltimore Ravens running back Jamal Lewis pleaded guilty Thursday to using a cell phone to try to set up a drug deal and will be sentenced to four months in prison, to be served after the regular season ends in January. "

he could have served up to 10 years. most people as their first offense would have to serve a small portion of that, but come on, only 4 months??!!!!

lock the fucker up and make an example of him!

why do the rich always get away with shit, while they fill prisons with people who cant afford decent lawyers

Yet some poor Mexican busted with a half OZ of pot at the border goes in for years. If that same Mexican fucks a white girl in a hotel room and she calls it rape, he does 15 years. The US justice system isn't as bad as Canada's but it's still pretty fucked up.

It's the same in every western country Mr Izzz - if you have the dollars to hire a good mouthpiece you can talk your way out of almost anything.

cuss he took the plea bargain, they couldn't have had a very strong case if they only hit him with that. prosecutors would use a case like this to build their rep.
