    Web cam for live show

    What webcan people use for live show. Im looking to get one, but so many choice, which one do you recommend?

      Camcorder and a capture card. You probably already have one and you just need the card and you're all set (or firewire if you have that kind of digital cam).

          yes the above will work. If you have a capture card I personally recommend winnov www.winnov.com they have a winnov1000plus that is pretty good and can be found between $150 and $250

          If you have a card there is a great cam that we have used many times called a sony pan tilt and zoom EVI-D30 it comes with a remote and also has a follow me feature although I have never used it it is to follow you around so you do not even have to mess with it. They are often found on e-bay used and we have bought 4 or 5 for events and such.

                      I agree, Camcorders work great. Plus you can tape the show while you are broadcasting. You can run them through FireWire or USB as well.

                              You can also use a camcorder that has firewire out, easier and clearer then going through an analog capture card ... btw our broadcaster software connect's directly to a firewire video source ;)
