I have a Nikon D70 with a not so great lens. I have been using my friend's lenses for shooting most everything.

I have the opportunity to sell my D70 for not much of a loss.

The reason I am asking is because I plan to invest well over $2k lenses so obviously I want to make the right choice between Nikon or Canon.

I shot with a Canon D20 today and like it. But of course it is quite a bit more expensive than a D70.

Opinions?
