We had this done probably around a year ago
our webmasters hated the idea
they said it was confusing the customers and at the end the left without buying anything.
you have to keep the customer focused on one product that you are trying to sell. If you flash him with 100 more he will just give up.
Ex: My wife when she goes shopping for shoes (i think she does it everyday) most of the time she comes back empty handed if there were hundreds to choose from that she liked.
