I keep on getting emails with threads , they always start with this :

New threads which you defined as interesting to you were posted...

funny thing is I never defined any subjecst that are interesting to me , all I did was sign up and log in once to check out some stats

what is this all about ? why do they do this ?

I just looked at their join form again, and if you put something in the "fields of interest" (Fields of interest: few words (google-style search) you would expect to find in threads that are interesting to you. i.e. your (company) name or product. Seperate the words by spaces. You can indicate full phrases by writing inside quotes ("). Example: hostronix "free hosting" bandwidth
Used for automatic email alerts.) you can pretty much expect to get an alert for those words. If you left it blank, you would get no alerts.

So, if you stated "porn" was your field of interest, you would get notified everytime the word "porn" was used in the first post of a thread . . . .just go clear your keyword search and they will stop

The problem is that you can't read, or comprehend. You obviously put something in the field of interest, and just like the form says, you are going to get alerts for those words.

I usually only receive emails that have the keywords I defined..sometimes I might get a false positive because I have to use words like gallery, galleries..and that gets discussed a lot..but other than that I can't fault the service.

I had one the other day I could not understand . . . it was talking about the bill recently signed by our governor that was going to stop the force feeding of ducks and geese to make dome pate or something.

I read it 20 times before I realized that my keyword "feed" was getting picked up because they said "feeding" in the thread.
