    TGP owners, are you just fucking ignorant or what's the deal ??

    So.. I haven't submitted galleries for like, 3 years. I decide, what the hell, I'll have some fun, right ?

    I go register a brand new domain and run up some nice pages, 3 out links in them, and place 4 recips at the top. Lets see, 3 years ago, 3 + 4 = 7.
    ready for my first gallery in a while ..

    Things sure have changed...

    ERROR we only allow 10 outside links

    ERROR we are not accepting submissions at this time
    ( NO problem, just happy to be able to run your recip )

    ERROR you are blacklisted !
    LOL, that was quick, my ftp program is still open ! Is my domain already resolved ?

    ERROR preview thumbnail must be 87x119
    OK ! Let me go make one for your SPECIAL PAGE ..

    ERROR my script is broken or I don't know how to set permissions, or didn't pay my hosting

                              One final thing about that, I can see the reason for an image to read and type in the box .. but is there any reason that everyone has to mix upper and lower case too ?

                                                  Right after I make my gallery I have to make a 70x70, 77x77, 80x80, 88x88, 118x118, and a 90x120 thumb for individual places that need them. Only take a minute to make them but it still sucks.

                                                                      Too many tgp webmasters have stupid rules, especially small ones (under 100k) who think that their tiny numbers actually matter enough to have their own rules. And when they sign up to trade with me they cant follow one simple rule of an all caps title so i dont have to rename it.

                                                                                              TGP'ers make me laugh. Their link rules are pathetic at best. Max 2 outgoing links, but the pics to link ratio keeps rising. It was once 1/5 now it's more like 1/10 at larger places. What gets me boiling even more is they NEED submitters yet treat them like dogs. Even alot of places selling top listings restrict how you advertise regardless of you sending them a few 100 dolalrs a week. Fuck them. I got myself a nice little list of 150 TGPs. IF I ever started submitting again I can gurantee these odd sized thumb faggots will be erased from thsi list and I will stick to TGPs that treat me like a fellow businessman, not a fucking scum sucking gallery dog. They never generate sales anyways. Only the old school TGP style site actualy convert.

                                                                                              My own TGP is strict, but only because I have certain goals for my tgp. For one, being on topic. If you submit off topic galleries I will ban your ass fast. Can't read rules? GO away! If they post on topic and have 6 links besides recips and those 6 links are in good contrast to the content and content is decent it gets listed in same queue as everyone else. No worse off treatment. If it's just 6 fucking banners. No way then, way too much. All within reason. But paragraphs can have linked words in it. I don't care. We are here to make fucking money. I already have money makers on my site BEFORE you get my surfer scrolling down to submitted galleries so after that, have fun.

                                                                                                              "Why waste time looking at useless advertising - use this and just see the images."

                                                                                                              Now that's even worse than guys who sell pop-up blockers.

                                                                                                                  The popup killer you can get for free -

                                                                                                                  40 popups and exits kill TGP traffic! makes sense to me.

                                                                                                                  Gallery with a popup never makes it to my TGP. Exit pages on the gallery = no. On your sponsor tour limit to two and that's if the gallery is good. Exit management is important, so is keeping my traffic up!

                                                                                                                                                                                      Things sure have changed, I really don't see how people can make a living doing this, and I applaude them. With 10 hundred million little TGPs out there with all sorts of rules, it's a wonder they survive. maybe they don't, and they're just getting recycled with the masses.

                                                                                                                                                                                      You'd think they NEED submissions, sure, there are sponsor hosted galleries, but only so many of them really.

                                                                                                                                                                                      I would think they need the fresh submits to keep new, fresh galleries for the traffic. I dunno..
