Here is something else to think about. The quality of people who think you are something is way more important than the quantity. Also in the industry kissing ass is a big part of how sales are made. Is your photogtapher going to ay "YES you ugly bitch, smile, give me that horrible face baby YEAH" Am I to believe that every model and sales rep who tells me how sexy I am is being real? Perhaps they are as I think I am a cute guy and people outside of the industry who do not have to say so may mention it from time to time, BUT part of my attractiveness is that I am humble, self assured YES, thinking I am god's gift NO.

This is exactly right... like I said in my post, it's not going to make friends (read business associates) by doing the holier-than-thou thing. I have no problem with self-assured women who know they are good looking, but spouting it off every single day is kind of tedious and really not going to accomplish much of anything
