Why isn't anyone talking about Russia's "War Games?"

Russia is testing it's nuclear weapons to quote, "Be prepared to defend itself against terrorists." They say they believe nuclear war to be inevitable.

Something is very wrong with that picture.

Unfortunately on the news channels all I am hearing are dumb stories about Martha Stewart, Michael Jackson, and another friggin bible movie.

Why isn't anyone talking about this?

Actually, that might be the best thing to do to kept the peace. If the Heartland knew of this we would go directly back to having the sentiment we had during the cold war for our Russian friends.

Same thing about when they developed that laser missile defense weapon. Nothing on the major news channels. They had plenty of time for Scot Peterson though.

Its because that is what most people (sadly) want to see. And they have to compete and pay bills too

You don't suppose they'd be training to fight against the elephants in south africa. Of corse they are aiming for the US, as it is pretty powerful. Its not a threat at the moment, but who knows when it might become one.
Don't worry I can give you 110% garantee that US has the same plans against Russia. And about 180 countiries. Its the part of Military Defense system in any country.

I totally agree with justfreemovies. Even though we took a very reckless way about doing it, thanks to Afghanistan and Iraq, no one wants to fuck with us right now and many nations fear us. Is that a good thing, yes and no. We won't know if it was more good than bad for a decade but we definitely mad a positioning statement to the world that made the Russians a bit jumpy.

I am still wondering why this isn't in the news? It seems like the press could have a field day with this subject.

Don't see any revelation here. Russia has developed and improved its nuclear (and other!) weapon for long-long time without interruption. For now Russia has the most powerful ballistic missiles with separating warheads (I mean the ones called "Satan"). According to scientific predictions, those missiles will be unachievable the US PRO for at least 20 years or so. However these missiles already treated as outdated, and Russian scientists are working strongly on newer ones. These works were never stopped, and they will never be stopped in future until at least one other country has WMD or just a powerful army. Only a full idiot can think that Russia has lost its power. This is so fondly... For now, Russia has enough weapons (both nuclear and non-nuclear) to destroy the ENTRIE WORLD but not just the USA or any other country.

Both Americans and Russians love their countries.
I lived in both US and Russia, and I can tell that people are all the same everywhere. Its just the politicians that make us look different, sometimes bad. But overall people are all the same.
