I have a similar situation. I have made a finished product that I could run through the printing house right now if I wanted to, but the thing is getting some distribution deals before you spend thousands of dollars turning the product into physical matter.Comment

But first, it ain't really comparable with a record deal.
with a record deal, an artist has a deal with a record company, who pays for and promotes the record, and the record company will have it's contacts with distributors.
So best thing to do, do a search for dvd distributors and just contact them directly and see if they want to distribute your stuff.
