    Joesho got Banned on GFY for speaking up against Lens

    Apparently Joesho spoke up against Lens for not having a mod to ban people such as smokey... then Joesho made the biggest mistake.. he mentioned other boards that are in opposition to GFY and comments made there.

    Is this the type of dictatorship run here?? GFY allows assholes to post freely but due to GFY's ego and realizing their membership base and the core group that posts are heading to other boards, instead of trying to resolve the situation - they ban anyone and everyone... then delete the thread like BigBrother trying to brush it under the carpet as seen here::

    Is this right?? Is GFY loosing its appeal and going more for the dollar than caring for the people and webmasters who made it great in the past?? Is Lens Big Brother??

                  Actually I read the post and I've seen no reason for banning Joe.

                  This place is really going in the wrong direction and I mean this 100% seriously.

                  Guess this was one of the biggest mistakes Lens could do,since Joe is liked and well respected by so many ppl here.

                  I really think about relocating from here,and believe me,I love GFY.

                  But the latest things happening here is just beyond me.

                  This place should change again to have an atmosphere where you can at least 'live with eachother'...

                  This is not the case anymore,this is just ridiculous.

                                          ever wonder why new boards have all of a sudden popped up?? There were not that many GFY's that were in the industry to begin with.. and those who pay top dollar to have a banner here are going to realize sooner or later that this board is not the way it use to be. Lens has to change something in order to keep the glory that use to be - instead of playing God and BigBrother and banning any reference to people he likes in a negative way or other boards that he doesnt like

                                                          I'm assuming he was banned for posting about other boards, which has been a hanging offense as long as I can remember. I've said negative shit towards Lensman and AMP before without getting banned, so it's not like he's looking for people to ban to boost his ego or some shit.

                                                              Because they all wish they could be GFY, they all are opened by people who think that they're hot stuff and that people love them so much that they'll just follow them.

                                                              They're hoping that it's a quick and easy way to make money. Open it, spam the hell out of their icq list, make people post, charge $2500/month for a banner spot.

                                                              Don't even try to pretend that any one board was ever started because they felt GFY wasn't any good anymore.

                                                              It's solely a self worth / make money decision.

                                                                  I'm sure it was just a mistake on his part, but we have zero tolerance for it here. So I'm sure he'll be back, but bitching about it is not exactly a fast way to get back in.
