    anyone here produce DVDs?

    I need to figure out how to find distribution for a gay DVD series I'm going to produce soon. I can't find any information anywhere. Seems like the online world and the brick-and-mortar side of this business stay far away from eachother.

                  check with FTVGirls about Pornslinga. Distributor will always tell you want you want to hear. Better to get feedback from somebody who is a producer.

                  everybody who is chasing DVD distribution is misguided, there's not much money there, unless what you have is so good a large distributor, meaning people who can sell 5,000 plus, wants your stuff bad and will make you a good deal. Very doubtful.

                  sell them directly off your own sites, you keep all the customer's information and they will be back for more

                  you are competing with hundreds of studios, it's an old boys network for the most part.
