    Fuck You just dont know when it is your turn to go . Just imagine going to New Orleans to have a good time, and end up dead. Fucking sad !

              a few years back I was at Mardi Gras and a guy came sailing out of a window onto the crowded sidewalk below and died.

              Turns out he was drunk and jumping from bed to bed in his hotel room and misjudged and went out the window.

                      The part of the parade route this happened is by some projects and a very high crime area.

                      Those coming to NO should be aware of what neighborhoods they are in and should be very careful.

                                  When I went to the New Orleans convention a while back I got warned about how dangerous that city is.

                                  Thought I was gonn have my ass handed to me walking to the Player's Ball when i had a couple groups of guys give me nasty look on the way there as i was in my "pimp" outfit at the time and by myself!!

                                          Didn't 5 people get shot in seperate incidents all around the time of the show, all generally in the area of the show / hotels people were at.

                                          I know someone got shot outside Harrah's right across from the W hotel I was staying at.

                                          That being said, I had a great time in NO and would prb. do it again.

                                                          At ia2000, I did not feel safe! Death was stalking ... like Mike said 5 people shot. And we missed places by like 30-45 mins on 2 seperate nights LOL

                                                          But it was still a blast.

The weekend before through Fat Tuesday the crowd is packed like sardines all the way down Bourbon Street, there are numerous side entrances and nobody would think twice about seeing someone in a big costume...

I remember we had to park down the street for the party from CE at a club and there were some dudes looking like they wanted trouble, I gave them the "fuck with me if you want" stare and kept my eye on them til we hit the end of the block.

A hdd crash on my internal file server took out all my backups of original pics, you know memories, and about 2 months worth of music and work in one fouled swoop. Turns out I had forgotten that I had setup 5 disks in that box and the rest just failed to mount. I managed to recover my shots of last summer and some of our "Board Meetings" in rancho santa fe.
