Yeah, it does look clunky but the technology seems compelling. The only drawback is sure... the car emits no pollution... however the power generation needed to power up the car (electricity) is burdened and thereby needs more oil.

Its basically an environmental shell game.

Definitely makes one wish for cold fusion.

I agree, such as the new hybrid cars... They are really ugly.

Btw, those hybrids run pretty well-- handling is great and speed is moderately good.

I've always wondered that myself. They look retarded, if you make a normal car, people might take to the new features better. (ie: hybrid)
