galleries? the hun?

how many of you actualy make sales off of submitted gallery listings to the hun?

if you have had good luck with them
could i see an example gallery to see what im doing wrong?

thehun.net has a few 100 sample galleries to look at.
here's a tip: look at the top 10.

You've got to be kidding? There are plenty of examples of galleries that get listed on the hun, ummm right on his main page. And why do you think people submit galleries just to burn bandwith for the hell of it?

I always get more sign-ups per visitor on The Hun than anybody else. If I get 40% of my traffic from him, then I'll get 65% of my sign-ups from his surfers.
He was on a webcast a month or so ago and explained how he came from nowhere to become #1. The bottom line is he knows what his surfers want, which is CONTENT.
His surfers do NOT come to his site to see snappy graphic design-
His surfers do NOT come to see a bunch of ads for paysites-
They come to see quality pics and movies.
I always use large thumbs and never more than 1 banner and 1 text link. The content should sell the site and forget the rest of the bullshit.
Also, it is relatively easy to get listed there. He picks the best
100 galleries out of the 500 that get to his desk. That means that you have to make better galleries than 80% of the submitters.
And if you're not in the top 20 percentile of gallery makers, then chances are you won't make very much money.

Top Ten are the people who can afford a galleryspot, i don't think it matters how your gallery looks like...

you'd better look from gallery 20 down, that are the galleries that are chosen, not paid...

I had several listings on the Hun but not very much sales from it.
You get a lot of traffic on your gallery, but I'm pretty sure, the surfers on the Hun are "free-picture surfers"

more niches to promote?

buying a top spot on the hun doesn't guarantee conversions no matter what your gallery looks like.

if it did, every asshat and his sister would buy the top spot.

The last 4 galleries i submitted there were all accepted. 1 made shit, 2 made decent to good sales. 1 i dont know yet

I submit every 3 days, and every gallery that I submit thehun lists. I wouldn't waste my times submitting to there if I didnt make sales off it

Most of the time I get quite some sales with free listings.
Paid spots do of course better but you can have more ads on your gallery with paid spots.

Try to sell something else next to a pornsponsor.
Pills do pretty well

that's what i'm saying. the dude i quoted seems to believe that the gallery will convert no matter what, simply because it's in the top 10.
