    uploading songs to cell phones

    I want to set up my website with a section for downloading songs to a cell phone. Any suggestions....besides GFY!

          I am still hoping that some one has some information for me. Perhaps a link to a "How to" site. My phone uses wav files which are simple so I have no problems there. I am just curious the steps I need to take on both ends as far as my website and then what to do on the phone. I know I am new to this board and noone knows me but I play nice and share. I will stick around and be a contributer. Just please help me with this new project of mine.

              It really depends on your phone more than anything. I'd see if your phone supports 3g or mp3 files though. They are more efficient and MUCH smaller than wav.

              Other than that, you can just link them like you would an image.

                  Try w3schools and do a search for WML. It has a very indepth tutorial. I am finishing up a mobile site right now. WML is universal to cell phones. Your phone may interprit a wav file ok, but the guy or girl visiting your sites will not. It is also important that the phone can interprit the intire web page. If not the user will get a file to large error. and the cellular browser will interupt the download.
