We asked many people on different boards if they could design a cashsite. Pixel-works SEEMED to be a honest partner, they offered a lot, custom music, fast delivery so we decided to go for it. That was November 7th 2003.
After 2 weeks and a lot of asking, begging and explaining to Pixel-Work Tommy came up with a banner. Wrong size wrong colors wrong font. My 5yo nephew could do that in 30 mins and it looks better.
I explained that we didn?t like the way he handled things, complex email discussions and the same reply everytime : ?oh but we can do that just give me a minute?. We were asking for quality not for 25 re-do?s per day.
So : we both agreed the ?you don?t like it you don?t pay it? tagline was there and we asked for the $1000 we made as a downpayment. And then shit happens.
Tommy had no money. He paid the programmer and could not return the $1000. I had our company lawyer call his bank, contacted his lawyer (who never returned any of our calls, emails, faxes etc) and found out he had less then $10 in his account no regular deposits and no steady income whatsoever. So : shit happened again.
What do you do when someone doesn?t pay. Sue the bastard or try to work things out. So our lawyer said, try the 2nd. Both Tommy and ThinkX Ltd agreed that the $1000 would be in our account BEFORE February 15th. We wired the same day. We always pay on time. Ask Bluedesignstudios, iroc409, tootie and many others. Tommy doesn?t. Ask Reak, Nicola and many others.
So shit happens again. For Tommy. Our lawyer prepared the legal docs and I?m leaving for Skive Denmark to report Fraud to the local authorities. Since he has no registrated business this will be a personal claim. We will claim the $1000, interest and ask the local court permission to conviscate any and all personal belongings and freeze his bankaccount.
No more Pixelworks go fuck someone else Tommy. The dream is over.

POSTEDIT : so why didnt we post this days ago. Because both our lawyer and me were stupid enough to think they would pay. Well in the end they did, too late and not the $1000 they had to refund.
Apart from the fact that sending $1000 in Euros now is considerably less then it was 4 months ago they also managed to screw up the Western Union transfer so we didn?t receive what we had to recieve. Some people never learn.
