the different address is soemthing that is hard to deal with. People send gifts all the time.
I was a PI and worked for credit card companies doing skip traces ect with phone & E purchases it is so hard to deal with.

I understand that, but maybe they should look into it and figure out that I'm really not going to send Willy from Queens 400 bucks worth of electronics

I've been seeing more and more websites that won't ship too a different address on the card. I've had a few of them even call the credit card company to ask about the address.

Mine does the same thing, but the problem is that i have to cancel the card. I'm not worried about getting my money back, it is just a pain in the ass. I would also like to know where the bastard got the number and my address from... I have purchased a few things (content and shit) from companies that use no-name overseas processors, i will not purchase from them anymore.

they should..if people had a better give a shit factor and pull out the shady ones..another problem is everybody is high and mighty and get pissed when u inconvienence them by holding up the purchase or their card for that matter..if people would just understand it is for their own good the cc companies would be more obliged to go the extra mile

I had a card stolen azbout 12 years ago and the shithead that took it bought a $400 shih tzu and $300 in perfume at the T-Bird Swap Shop in Lauderdale.

Took me months dealing with Visa to get the charges reversed.
