This is exactly why we started DRM Networks. In 1999 I started a dot com known as WebPayPerView with your business model in mind. Getting the video, finding developers and moreover, finding an audience was easy.

What was difficult was that, at that time, payment systems and content distribution through those payment systems did not exist. I have now drawn from that experience to develop a system to easily and inexpensively deliver video over the internet and I agree that today it is very easy to do.
