                                  I'm currently on 1024 x 768 which is how I voted but I normally use 1280 x 1024.

                                  I also show over 50% of my surfers are on higher than 800x600 now, is this the same for everyone are do some of you still have a majority of 800x in there?

                                          It's important to know what your sites look like in 800x600 resolution, as that is what the majority of our customers use.

                                                              1280x1024 here... it's the native res of my lcd and anything else looks shitty, although I test my pages down to 800x600 to make sure they work. CSS and expandable tables are a great thing.

                                                                  No but webmasters have pretty much always set higher resolutions on average. Just proving to Smokey that he's pulling number out of his ass as usual. Kind of like the $300 per day referral money from 2 weeks of his sig.

                                                                  Edit: And a lot of new machines come set at 1024 / 768.

                                                                          yes because thats factory default setting.. there is no way possible you can like surfing in 800x600 unless you've got eyesight problems or a 15" monitor. Or you just don't do that much work that you need to be efficient and not hitting alt tab every five seconds.
                                                                          I would rather stab myself than surf at 800x600 it's just retardedly impractical, at 1280 x 1024 i have two and a half times your viewing area meaning i can be doing much more at once, like have the overture tool, a registrar, wordtracker and notepad to take down details open all at once. surfing at 800x600 is like driving with an eyepatch on.

                                                                              Man it sucks at first. But once you leave it for a day 800x600 looks like a page exploded on your screen. I slowly eased mine higher and higher.

                                                                                          SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

                                                                                                      Hell I guess I just got used to it. Been surfing this way since I started my main stream biz in 97ish. Hell I dont even have carpal.

                                                                                                      Going to try some higher resolutions like stocktrader recomends to see if I can increase my productivity.
