    My hat's off to Heather Hamptons...

    She didn't lie, cheat, or steal.

    People are treating her like a criminal for asking for donations. She didn't try to mislead anyone. She could have said she needed money to cure a life threating illness...but all she said was that she wanted a boob job to boost her self-esteem and would take donations from anyone that was "in the mood".

    Now there is a thread asking her to not to be a "selfish bitch" and give the donations to another cause. If she lied about her motives I would understand this, but damn it I sent her money for boobies and that's what she should do with the money.

    If you didn't want to help, you could have ignored her thread. People ask for free shit all the time or lie about their position to get help from fellow webmasters. Those are the people that should be damned.

    Take her request for what it is, a request for money for personal gain. Don't try to make it out to be something more than it is.


    I may not agree with posting such a request on a public forum, but at least she didn't lie about what she wanted.

                                          You would let this one opinion of mine change the way you might feel about me? I didn't post this to start a fight with anyone, I just think some people took this too seriously and used a foolish request to judge someone's total worth.

                                          Would it be possible for her to post a good reply in her thread?

                                          She's a bitch if she doesn't reply.
                                          If she agree's with you, people will say she is only trying to save face.

                                                  The fact remains, that she lied about several other things... so she is a dishonest person. The fact is that she has the gall to ask for donations for a luxury, rather than get off her ass and earn it herself... In the meantime, there are so many people that actually NEED help for things that are NOT luxuries... and to top it all off, she's a dumb bitch.

                                                                      Sorry to hear that, didn't realize my generosity would ruin my image. I donated for the cat toys too and I'm sure there were better causes at that time too.

                                                                      I am also active in raising money for cancer research through fund-raisers and "walks".

                                                                      I have also helped to raise money for the American Heart Association, American Lung Association, Boys and Girls clubs, Big Brother foundation, and many others.

I'm taking responsibility for my son and would never ask anyone to help with that. What do you do??? You ask for help to get bigger tits! I'm sorry, but this really fumes me. As of right now, they play in the parking lot... with sidewalk chalk, hula hoops and a couple of basket balls. Do I ask for donations to help with that??? NO!!! Because I know that ASKING FOR HELP SHOULD BE RESERVED FOR THOSE IN DIRE NEED!

Are you going to go into debt if you don't get better boobs? Are you going to die if you don't get them??? I think not. You should be ashamed of yourself.

                                                                                      She denied my offer to have her work with another male. But she accepted my offer for her to shoot custom content for AmateurMarket.net.

                                                                                      She is actually videotaping it right now, as we speak. I am very happy with the price, and I am very happy with the turn around time. She is working on it now, after spending the day on GFY, getting her kids to bed, and shooting some photos for another webmaster.

                                                                                      She made a simple request. That is all.

                                                                                      There will ALWAYS be requests that we find "silly" or "pointless". There will ALWAYS be better causes.

                                                                                      Hell, instead of buying my son an XBox for Christmas (a luxury item, especially for a 4 year old), I could have donated THAT money to someone that "really needed it".

Did I really NEED to go to Sushi and drop $100 for lunch for two today? Nope. I could have gone to Taco Bell instead and sent the extra to charity.

                                                                                                              Did I need to give money to the college student begging on the corner this afternoon, perfectly capable of getting his ass a job?                                                                                                                                                       Donovan, first off all... my anger comes from the fact that she had the gall to ask for donations for something totally aesthetic... she was taking advantage of people and if you read the first post in her thread, you will see that. It totally belittles the legitimate needs of other people on this board... anyone who has asked, or should ask for help. There are always *more* deserving causes... but what self respecting woman would come to a webmaster board and ask for money for something as stupid as tits? When my son was in the hospital and I was broke, I did NOT ask for help, because I knew if I saved my money, I could pay the money that was necessary for his survival. I have morals. I have the capacity to know when to... or when NOT to ask for help. Had my son's surgery required payment up front, at that time I WOULD have asked for help. It was a life or death situation. Because I knew the circumstances were not of that sort, I handled it myself... and am still handling it myself to this day.

                                                                                                                                                          She did not use deception. She asked for what she wanted stupid to one person, funny to another, appalling to others. The drama built up around such a simple thing amazes me.

I personally do not see her request as being anymore stupid than Lensman spending $80,000 on a Dodge Viper. Or Quiet talking about spending over $100,000 on a porsche.

                                                                                                                                                                  Boobs, Fancy Cars, Fancy Vacations, Fancy Houses.... all are luxury items.

                                                                                                                                                                  And if someone was going to ask for donations for a BOOB JOB, I can see no better forum to ask than an adult webmaster forum, where we all make our money from BOOBS and BUNS.

Although I think my previous experience has enabled me to see the idiocy in her request though, more so than if my past had been ideal.

I made no demands, only a request. I didn't tell her where to put the money, I just requested that she give it to a worthy cause of her choice.
