When are you planning.
If you are doing it soon, or during the winter, you need to scoot down to Cancun or something south. It gets really cold up here in the northern part of Baja.
If you are going during the summer, and want something like a nice little beach town, but still with a few nice bars to party, then Try Rosarito Beach, 27km south of the border, or try San Filepe. It is further south and on the sea of cortez.

I can recommand you Mexico "Acapulco" amazing place or if you want to come to Europe, you can get nice deal on airtickets and in Europe you can visit Paris (France), Czech Republic (Prague)-very cheap here for your currence, we still don't have euro but czech crowns.....
